Donsol, Sorsogon

Welcome to Donsol, Sorsogon

This is my second time in this southernmost part of Luzon.

This time, I am travelling with friends.

I just want to do whale shark chasing,

and river cruise firefly watching.

We left Manila around 8 pm, arriving Bicol around 9 am.

We stayed in a homestay: occupied two rooms for our things,

and had their garden to set up our sleeping tent.

We rented an outrigger boat for our river cruise firefly waiting.
It was P900 for 11 of us.

It was magical!

I always dream of watching these creatures sparkling in a tree..
in a dark night while cruising the river.

Next day.. woke up early to do our most anticipated

Whale Shark chasing.

The guide
explained not to feed the sharks as well as not to touch them.

The watcher 

tells once the shark is nearby.

The feeling is surreal...

They don't eat human..

they cannot even swallow a huge plankton or jellyfish.

They can be found in Donsol, Sorsogon during the feeding season
of November to early March.

Sometimes, you have to wait for them to show up.

Also, you need to swim fast to see them closer.

There is another place to see them all year round,
in Oslob, Cebu.

After the amazing experienced, we packed our things..

not to go home but to continue traveling in the southern most part.

The Philippines is a diverse country with its natural resources,

and people. 

I hope to travel more in our 7,000++ islands.
