There are 2 ways to reach this destination;
1. To fly from Manila to Tagbilaran through Cebu Pacific, PAL and AirAsia
2. To fly from Manila to Cebu then take the fast craft to Tagbilaran
I took the first option.
I flew from Manila, leaving at 9 am arriving 10 am through Air Asia.
P2000, round trip.
The travel time is 1 hour.
From the airport, I rented a trike toDau Terminal or the Island City Mall.
The fare was 100.
Then, I took a jeepney going to Loboc River.
The fare was P17.
It's 45 minutes travel.
The entrance fee is P100 and lunch buffet is P300.
The cruise will take an hour and a half.
There is a waterfalls at the end of this cruise.
Then, from Loboc, I waited for the bus bound to the Tarsier Sanctuary.
I just tell the driver to drop me off the Sanctuary.
The fare was P10 for 30 minutes travel.
The entrance is P50.
After wandering around the sanctuary, I took another bus going to Carmen.
The fare was P50, 45 minutes travel.
It will also pass through the man-made forest.
I just tell the driver to drop me off the Chocolate Hills.
You may hire a motorbike going to the hill or you can walk for 10 minutes going up.
I did hire a motorbike going up for P20,
then, just walk down.
The last bus going back to Tagbilaran passes by around 5 pm.
The time was 2 hours.
The fare was P100.
I did not book any hotel accommodation.
I just walked downtown and saw Nisa Traveler's Inn.
One fan room was P450, good for 2
with breakfast.
I had my dinner at Chowrie diner.
The trike was P20 ( I could have walk since it's near)
My dinner was P150.
I walked back to my hotel.
Day 2.
I packed my things and had my breakfast.
I checked out but told the front office guy that I might come back and I will call.
I went to the other side of the street and ride the jeepney to Dau or the Island City Mall.
The fare was P7, 10 minutes travel.
I missed the 8:30 am bus to Sagbayan so I took the 9:30 am schedule, instead.
which is better as it goes to Danao.
It's a 3 hour bus travel.
The fare was P90.
You may check my Plunge adventure at Danao:
It was a terrifying one in lifetime experienced.
The plunge was P700.
(It is the same with bungee jumping)
The zip line was P300.
There are other activities like root climbing and river rafting.
They offer hotel accommodation for overnight stay
and they serve good food.
I took the van back.
The fare was P150.
It was 4 hours travel as we passed the other side,
stopping over the port that service the Camiguin island.
I returned to Nisa Traveller's Inn and had my dinner at Payag's restaurant.
The trike was P4, round trip.
My dinner was P150.
Day 3.
I packed my things, had my good breakfast and waived my good byes
to the kind hotel owner and staff of Nisa.
I went to the other side of the street.. again.
I had to asked several locals to find the bus terminal going to Panglao Island.
The travel time is 30 minutes ad the fare is P100.
I chose to stay in Dumaluan Beach to avoid the crowd of tourist.
The entrance fee is P25.
There are hotel cottages for P650, good for 2.
You may rent an outrigger boat to do dolphin watching or do island hopping.
I chose to do nothing.
This beach has the finest white sand.
Of all the places I've been to in the country... this is one of my favorite beach.
I walked to the neighbouring resorts and found the Bohol Beach Club.
I had my seafood lunch for P150.
After chillin', I washed up to proceed to the port.
I took the van for P120.
I did not reserve any ticket,
I just bought the ticket of the next ferry going to Cebu.
The fare was P500 for 2 hours travel.
From the port, I took the taxi to the city.
I had dinner with my long time friend who moved to Cebu.
Then, took a taxi to Mactan Island to take my flight back to Manila.
Until my next adventure ♥
